With over 35 years of experience in the holistic and hands-on healing arts, Theo Chappell is dedicated to enlivening your inner healing intelligence and supporting the natural self-correcting mechanisms of your bodymind.  As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (NC#5556) and a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Professional (NCBTMB), Theo combines a wealth of knowledge, skill, and compassionate experience to help clients achieve profound physical, emotional and energetic healing and balance.

Theo’s journey has been shaped by diverse training, including an Associate of Science degree from Santa Rosa Junior College, certifications from Ipsb the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, CA. and a three-year Surya Level 4 Healing Practitioner certification from the School for Enlightenment and Healing with Dr. Michael Mamas.  His ongoing professional development integrates Eastern, Western, and Native American healing traditions, enabling him to skillfully address the unique needs of multicultural and socially diverse clients.

calling his work Structural Energetic Bodywork, he combines integrative and therapeutic swedish/Esalen massage, Advanced bodywork and Transgradient energy healing to holistic health consulting and coaching, to teaching Qigong, Surya Ram meditation and Jyotish-Vedic Astrology, Theo’s practice spans a wide array of modalities. 

His specialties include Structural Integration, direct and indirect myofascial release, deep tissue sculpting, neuromuscular therapy, trigger points, Tui Na acupressure, various forms of subtle energy healing and trauma recovery techniques.  

Over the years he has worked in private practice, resorts, spas, medical offices and wellness centers across California and North Carolina, creating transformative healing experiences for his clients.

Inspired by Meditation and inner work masters and Mystics from east and west, like Jesus Christ, G.i. Gurdjieff, A.H. Almas, Ram Dass, Jack Kornfield, Baba Hari Das, Mantak Chia, Tai Chi & Chi Kong/Qigong masters: Dr. Michael Mamas, Theo weaves and integrates mindfulness, nondual meditation and spiritual healing into his work.
